M.A.S.S. Media Productions – Theater for EVERYONE!

Coming Up in June, 2023!

M.A.S.S. Media Productions will be working with Rachel Hettrick and Mitch Ladd in the two roles of Tennessee Williams’ “The Two-Character Play” with Erin Sullivan directing. The play will be brought to you in the Club Room of the Hoogland Center for the Arts on June 9-11, 2023!

The Tennessee Williams smash classic: “The Two-Character Play!”

One of Williams’ lesser-known plays, it is said to be “partially autobiographical,” with the two characters representing Williams and his sister Rose.

Per Wikipedia,

“The Two Character Play is an American play by Tennessee Williams that premiered in London at the Hampstead Theatre in December 1967. Williams himself had great affection for the play, and described it as follows:

“My most beautiful play since Streetcar, the very heart of my life.”

Murder Mysstery Sold Out Performances!!!!!!

Performances were February 10-11, 2023 at the Anchor Boat Club at 407 East Lake Shore Drive in Springfield, IL! We hope to continue the relationship moving forward and continue to bring unique shows to the members and the public!

Dead to the Last Drop is a hilarious interactive murder mystery that takes place in a coffeehouse and bookstore called “Café Caffeine.” The crazy cast of characters leads the audience through a maze of funny twists and turns. Opportunities for audience and cast interaction reach a peak when the audience is allowed to vote on the ending that they want to hear! There are four possible killers and four possible endings!

The show was sold out within a week with potential audiences clamoring for another date! Unfortunately, with folks having previous engagements, we were unable to do the additional presentation. Next year will perhaps be another story! We are already working on the details.
